About Us – All About English Mastery
Welcome to All About English Mastery, your trusted companion in achieving mastery and confidence in the English language. Established in the vibrant city of Ulsan, South Korea, in 2018, we initially started as a comprehensive face-to-face English Tutor Program catering to adults and children alike.
Our Origin
The story behind our venture is as captivating as the language itself. Dennis Wilborn, the founder, is no ordinary English teacher. As a former merchant marine captain, he has traversed the globe, amassing tales from every corner. Dennis’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. After settling in South Korea and embracing the roles of a dedicated husband and father, he made an intriguing observation. Despite Koreans’ proficiency in reading and comprehending English, many hesitated to speak. This observation planted the seeds for All About English Mastery and a new breakthrough for many struggling with breaking through to speaking English with confidence.
The Pivot and Expansion
In face of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we swiftly adapted, shifting our focus from Ulsan’s classrooms to engaging learners worldwide through digital screens. Our presence on the Amazing Talker Platform expanded, and we discovered a new voice with our YouTube channel @All_About_English. By 2023, our commitment to innovation soared as we introduced comprehensive, self-paced online courses. Additionally, for our Korean audience, we proudly launched Dennis’s educational game show on JEI English TV, aptly named “What’s That?!”
